WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., November 4, 2021 – SneezSafe, a web-based COVID-19 screening platform, has transformed into a comprehensive tool to help employers, universities, and other organizations manage the documentation required for compliance with the federal vaccine mandate. The tool was launched in 2020 and is being used by thousands of employees at firms such as Flow Automotive Companies, Reeb Millwork Corporation, Kitsbow, the City of High Point, NC, and Great Outdoor Provision Company. Now, employers and other leaders are turning to SneezSafe to keep their organizations healthy and to manage vaccine and testing documentation.
A tool like SneezSafe is a necessity for many employers. Just today, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) filed an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), on COVID-19 vaccination and testing. This latest mandate requires employees to have their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by January 4, 2022. Those who do not comply will be required to provide weekly negative test results to their employer to continue working face-to-face. The standard will impact more than 84 million workers and applies to all private-sector employers with 100 or more employees. Dr. Bill Satterwhite, CEO of Sneez, LLC says, “SneezSafe is a scalable, digital solution that allows employers to meet the latest OSHA standards in a fully customizable way. We understand the urgency and demands placed on employers, and we are poised to get new clients up and running on SneezSafe within a matter of a few days.”
SneezSafe features a robust dashboard, providing employers information about which employees are vaccinated, have reported a negative test, have been cleared to come to work, and who need to stay out of work based on symptoms and CDC guidelines. Fully vaccinated employees may upload their proof of vaccination and those who aren’t fully vaccinated can upload their weekly test results. Employers may also opt for unvaccinated employees to participate in a daily screening survey. Users can receive a daily reminder to complete the 10 second symptom survey which can be accessed on any web-enabled device through a web link, QR code, employer app or text message. If the employee reports concerning symptoms, then the tool can connect the user to a wide range of employer directed, customizable care options ranging from a remote or onsite nurse to employer-based health clinic, to virtual care or even a nearby clinic, all in real-time– right from SneezSafe.
SneezSafe can be accessed via web browser on any device and does not require an app download, making it accessible for anyone with internet access. For more information about SneezSafe, visit SneezSafe.com or email contact@sneezsafe.com.

About Sneez, LLC
Sneez, LLC, uses technology and health data integration to help communities stay informed and healthy. The Sneez brand was born when pediatric doctors, Bill Satterwhite, JD, MD and Steven Hodges, MD, created the Sneez app in 2016 – the first of its kind real-time illness tracking app. The Sneez app uses diagnosis data from local physicians and urgent care locations to inform the public of a variety of sicknesses occurring in their specific geography, including flu, colds, strep throat and other common illnesses. This data is used to create a virtual heat map of illnesses circulating in local communities by zip code. The app also helps consumers and their families connect with local healthcare providers through scheduling in-office and virtual visits with providers, as well as equipping users with helpful information such as the wait times at their local emergency room.
Sneez, LLC has also created two web-based platforms for health screening and care – SneezSafe and ZwellBeing. SneezSafe screens employees and other community members for COVID-19 through a simple daily survey and connects them with healthcare providers for evaluation and treatment. It also manages COVID-19 testing and vaccination documentation for employers and in use as part of the Covid-19 Community Research Partnership Study at Campbell University, Vidant, Tulane University Medical Center and Wake Forest University Health Sciences. ZwellBeing is a health engagement and monitoring platform that helps eliminate the chaos of accessing the right health and wellbeing resource in the workplace and on-campus, connecting employees and students to the right care, the first time.
